About

Surviving remains on the grounds of the former KL Plaszow camp — photograph by the KL Plaszow Museum

History of the site

The grounds of the former German forced labour camp, and from 1944 the KL Plaszow concentration camp, remain one of the few well-preserved memorial landscapes in Europe. The Museum protects this area and tells the stories of those imprisoned here.
